How to replace a Toilet Seat
It’s easy to replace that annoying toilet seat that threatens to throw you off every time you sit on it. First you need to remove the old one. Unscrew the two nuts on the hinge and lift your old toilet seat up and out. These nuts can be stuck fast, if so, apply some oil and try again in ten minutes, using a wrench if you need to.
Install the new one by inserting the bolts and tightening the nuts. Be careful not to over-tighten the nuts, as you may want to replace this seat someday as well.
